1: Take a photograph of your child

• Choose a darkened room (doesn't need to be pitch black!)
• Turn off the main room lights
• Ask your child to sit on the floor, away from any walls or furniture, facing left and looking towards a soft single light source (a lamp or bright tablet screen can  work well - the larger and brighter the better)
• Don't get them looking directly at the light for too long! Have the light slightly closer to you so they're looking beside it, not into it.
• You will photograph them from their left side. Their face should be lit, but not too much more - see the sample here... 
• Try to get your child looking enthralled or excited - perhaps reveal something in front of them (A favourite book could work - chocolate never fails!)
• Photograph your child with a camera or your camera phone. Ensure it is set to a high resolution with no digital filters or editing (that's our job!). Over 1MB would be best. Any smaller and print quality will suffer.
• Take several images that you're happy with - we will choose the one that will work best

 

  2: Send us your photographs 

• Send us your photographs - here are a few ways to do so...
• Upload via smilesatschool.wetransfer.com (secure upload solution for any file sizes)
• or Email to Santa@smilesatschool.com (filesize limits may apply)
• Include a phone number in case of any problems

 

 

 

  3. Complete an order form

• Complete an order form, specifying what prints, gifts or digital files you would

• We will follow up with an emailed card payment link for you to settle your payment

  4. Await your unique Christmas gifts!

• Our Digital Artists will get to work on your image ASAP
• Your Virtual Santa Grotto photograph will be dispatched to you within 10 days of payment
• Print and gifts will be posted to your home address. Digital images emailed to you using WeTransfer
